Cookie Notice
Three categories, four cookies, and one of them only exists to remember what you chose here.

1. What a cookie is doing here
A cookie is a short piece of text a website asks your browser to keep and hand back on the next page. This site uses as few as it can. Nothing here needs to know who you are, because there is no account to log in to and no basket to fill.
2. The three categories
Necessary. Without these the site does not work properly. They cannot be switched off and they set no matter what you choose — one of them exists purely to record that you were asked.
Statistics. Counting how many people read a page, which pages they came from, and where the site is slow. Aggregate numbers, no profiles, no identification of individuals. Off until you say yes.
Advertising. Whether an advertisement brought you to this site. Off until you say yes, and at present we run nothing that uses it — the category is listed so that the notice stays honest if that changes.
3. Every cookie this site can set

That is the whole list. There is no third-party tag on these pages, no social media button that phones home, no font or script loaded from another company’s server, and no advertising network watching this site.
4. Changing your mind
The notice appears on a first visit with three buttons: accept all, reject all, or open the settings and choose category by category. Whatever you choose, your choice is recorded for twelve months and the notice goes away.
To change it, delete the cookies for this site in your browser and reload any page — the notice returns and you can answer differently. Rejecting everything leaves the site fully usable; nothing is withheld because you said no.
5. Turning them off in the browser
Every browser can block or delete cookies from its settings, usually under Privacy. Blocking the necessary ones will make the cookie notice reappear on every page, because the site has no way to remember that you have already answered.
6. What this site does not do
- No advertising network, no retargeting pixel, no social tracking.
- No fingerprinting, no local storage used as a substitute for cookies.
- No fonts, scripts or stylesheets loaded from anywhere except this domain.
- No cookie set by any gambling operator, because there is no gambling on this website.
