Rates and inclusions
Three seasons, five categories, one page. Everything below is per room per night for two people, in New Zealand dollars, GST included.
The three seasons
Low is May to August. Shoulder is September, October, March and April. High is November to February, plus Cup Week and the Anniversary weekend in the middle of November whatever the month otherwise says.

A third person in a Summit Road Room or a suite is NZ$45 a night on the sofa bed. A cot is free. Under-fives eat breakfast free; five to twelve is half price. We do not charge for a late arrival, a late checkout before noon, a laundry item, or a phone call within New Zealand.
What the rate includes
- Parking under the building, one bay per room
- Wi-Fi throughout, and a wired socket at the desk in every room
- Tea, plunger coffee and fresh milk, replaced daily
- The gym on the ground floor, open from 5am
- Bags held before check-in and after checkout
- A current printed track map for the Port Hills
What it does not
- Breakfast — NZ$29 full, NZ$19 continental, or included in most packages
- The Bowenvale Bath House — NZ$32 a day for hotel guests, included in the two suite categories
- Extra bed at NZ$45, dog at NZ$35
- Airport shuttle, NZ$34 for two, booked at the desk
Deposits and cancellation
A booking of one or two nights holds on a card with nothing taken. Three nights or more, or any booking in High season, takes one night as a deposit at the time of booking.
Cancel more than 48 hours before 3pm on the day of arrival and there is no charge, and any deposit comes back within five working days. Inside 48 hours we charge the first night. A booking that never arrives and never calls is charged the first night as well.
Groups of five rooms or more, and every wedding, run on a signed agreement with its own dates for deposit and release. The desk sends it in writing before anything is charged.
Rates hold for the dates confirmed in the letter you receive. We do not raise a confirmed rate afterwards, whatever the season does.
Booking direct
There is no booking engine on this site and no payment page. Reservations answer by email or telephone, take the card over the phone or by a secure link from the bank, and send a written confirmation with the rate, the room number if it is known, and the cancellation date in plain figures.
